Ordering and delivery
How long will my order take?
Orders are handled in 4 to 6 working days, then UK delivery by Royal Mail Tracked takes a further 1 to 3 working days. Most customers receive their order within 5 to 9 working days of ordering. You can follow it on our order tracking page.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Email us within 24 hours of ordering and we will cancel and refund in full, provided it has not already been dispatched. You also have a statutory 14 day right to cancel after delivery.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on all UK orders, with no minimum spend.
Shower and tap filters
Will it fit my shower?
Our showerheads and handheld heads use the standard 1/2 inch BSP thread, which is what virtually every domestic shower in the UK is built around. They screw straight onto the wall arm or hose by hand. Full instructions are on our installation page.
Do I need a plumber?
No. Fitting takes about five minutes by hand and needs no tools and no changes to your pipework.
How often do I replace the cartridge?
Roughly every three months in normal household use, or sooner if you are in a hard-water area or notice the flow dropping. Replacement cartridges are available for every product in the range.
Does a shower filter soften my water?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Softening requires a plumbed-in ion exchange unit with a salt reservoir. A VORASSO filter reduces chlorine, sediment and metals; it does not remove the dissolved calcium and magnesium that cause limescale. There is more detail on our science page.
Will it reduce my water pressure?
Not noticeably with a fresh cartridge. If flow drops over time, that is the cartridge telling you it is full. Fit a new one.
Why is the first flush cloudy?
Loose carbon dust from new media. Run the shower for 30 to 60 seconds before first use and it clears.
Can I use it as a drinking water filter?
No. Our shower and faucet filters are not certified for drinking water.
Will it help my eczema or another skin condition?
We cannot claim that, and we will not. VORASSO filters are water-quality products, not medical devices, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a skin condition, speak to a GP or dermatologist.
Will the faucet filter fit my tap?
It fits standard threaded spouts, using the adaptors supplied. It does not fit pull-out spray taps, sensor taps, or spouts with no thread. Send us a photo if you are unsure.
Cabin size and airlines
Will the bag fit as cabin luggage?
Our cabin bags are built to the 56 x 45 x 25 cm frame used by British Airways, easyJet (large cabin bag), Jet2 and Virgin Atlantic. They are soft-sided, so how easily a bag drops into a sizer depends on how full you pack it. Airlines change their allowances from time to time, so always check your carrier before you fly.
Do you work with the airlines you list?
No. Airline names are shown for size reference only. We have no partnership or endorsement from any airline.
What is the difference between Classic and Roller?
Classic is the shoulder build with grab handles and a strap. Roller adds a detachable trolley base with wheels and a telescopic handle, and the wheels store inside the bag.
The bags
What are they made of?
Coated PU with a water-resistant finish, reinforced bases and non-slip zips. They are water-resistant rather than waterproof, so rain and spills wipe off but they are not built to be submerged.
How much fits in the Cabin Bag 2.0?
Comfortably around 10 days of everyday clothing, plus a separate compartment for shoes.
Does the Work Tote really keep food cold?
The base compartment is foil-lined, insulated and sealed off from the main bag by its own zip. For a long day, add a small ice pack the way you would with any insulated bag.
How do I clean them?
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. The tote's insulated base is designed to be wiped out. The Hoodie Backpack is machine washable once the compartments are empty.
Warranty
What does the Lifetime Warranty Plan cover?
Manufacturing defects in showerhead and faucet filter housings, for as long as you own them. It does not cover filter cartridges, which are consumables. Full terms are on the Lifetime Warranty Plan page.
Returns and refunds
What is your returns policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return your order, on top of your statutory 14 day right to cancel. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.
Who pays for return postage?
If the item is faulty or damaged, we cover all return and replacement shipping. If you have simply changed your mind, the return postage is yours and the original delivery charge is not refunded.
How do I start a return?
Email hello@vorasso.com with your order number and the reason, plus photos if the item is damaged. Wait for return authorisation before sending anything back.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect the return, refunds usually appear on the original payment method within 7 business days, depending on your bank.
